WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” Olympic bound Hannah Kearney returned home to Waterville Valley and the WV BBTS Ski Club with US Ski Team member Tim Preston on Monday, January 16, before her trip to Torino. Kearney, who will compete in the mogul competition at the Olympic Games next month, is an alumna of the BBTS Ski Club in its freestyle program.

Kearney arrived at noon and was warmly welcomed back to her old stomping grounds by current academy kids, coaches, family members and fans during a welcoming ceremony held outside the base lodge. As a gesture of congratulations and good luck, local school and academy kids presented Kearney with many gifts including flowers and a signed banner which will be sent to Torino.

After posing for photos with fans, Kearney and Preston hit the slopes with former freestyle head-coach Nick Preston and other young future Olympic hopefuls.
