AlpineZone Summit 6.0 at Sugarloaf Scheduled for February 6-8th, 2015

sugarloaf at nightCARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – The northeast’s most popular online outdoor adventure forum, AlpineZone.com, will return to Sugarloaf for the sixth annual AlpineZone Summit this winter, February 6-8, 2015. AlpineZone.com members will enjoy discounted lodging packages, special après ski parties, and an exclusive first tracks experience on Sunday morning.

This will mark the sixth consecutive year that the Summit has been held at Sugarloaf, which, with over 1200 skiable acres, is the largest ski area east of the Rocky Mountains. “This will be the sixth year running that Sugarloaf has hosted AlpineZone members for our annual summit,” Nick Reuter, co-owner of AlpineZone said. “Each year the summit has grown in scope and participation, and this year we are expecting record attendance. Sugarloaf has always gone above and beyond to make AlpineZone members feel at home and get an incredible value, and the schedule this year continues that tradition.”

This year’s Summit will begin on Friday night with a welcome party, hosted by AlpineZone administrators at the Shipyard Brewhaus in the Sugarloaf Inn. The party will feature free drinks, live music, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Sugarloaf.

Saturday will be spent skiing and riding on Sugarloaf’s legendary terrain, before an end of the day AlpineZone Apres Party in the Widowmaker Loft, where members will enjoy complimentary appetizers and sign up for first-tracks on Sunday morning. The Apres Party will also feature the annual AlpineZone Awards, recognizing many of the forum’s most active members.
