HIGHMOUNT, New York — After the snow storms finally subsided, Belleayre Mountain went from having 17 trails to 30 trails open. The latest terrain includes the cross country trails, Belleayre Run Glade, and Cathedral Brook. The $25 Lift Ticket on Christmas Day is a perfect time to check out all this fresh powder. Holiday rates do not go into effect until Thursday, December 25th. That means regular mid-week rates are in effect on Christmas Eve Day.

New this season, Belleayre Mountain will be opening a Demo Center on Friday, December 26th in the Overlook Lodge thanks to a partnership between Blue Sky Sports and Jimmy’s Belleayre Ski Shop. The center will include the latest and greatest demo ski gear from Rossignol, Elan, Dynastar, Volkl, and Atomic. Customers can test out as much gear as their legs can handle plus take a group lesson from one of Belleayre Mountains highly trained instructors. The Demo Center will offer full tune ups and a storage facility. Eliminate the hassle of carting gear back and forth by storing it at the Demo Center’s Ski Valet facility. The BMRA will be hosting their Annual Winterfest Dinner on Saturday, December 27th from 6pm – 10pm in the Overlook Lodge. Tickets are available for advance purchase only at the Guest Service Desk in the Overlook Lodge. Children age 11 to adults can purchase tickets for $25, children 6-10 get tickets for $10 and children 5 and under are free. The BMRA makes it possible for Belleayre Mountain’s talented racers and coaches to compete and excel at this sport. Bring the family for a night of fun including a pasta dinner, cash bar, DJ, Karaoke, 50/50 raffle and groomer rides.

Belleayre Mountain will be celebrating Hanukkah with a Candle Lighting Ceremony on Sunday December 29th. The event will take place in the Garden Room of the Overlook Lodge. Join other members of the Belleayre community at noon for stories, singing and refreshments.
