HIGHMOUNT, New York ??” January 6, 2006 marks the first in a series of Women’s Ski Seminars at Belleayre Mountain for all ability levels. These confidence building classes are geared toward women desiring to increase skills, enjoy camaraderie, and expand their comfort zone using techniques and methods sensitive to women’s needs.

Advancements in ski technology have resulted in equipment designed specifically for women. In response, Belleayre Mountain’s hand-picked team of female ski professionals have designed seminars to provide a complementary learning situation including four hours of on-snow time followed by a guest speaker or round table discussion.

One-day Women’s Seminars for beginners are scheduled for January 6, January 20 and Feb. 3, 2006. Total cost is $125 and includes rental equipment. Intermediate dates are January 27 and March 3 and the cost is $100. An advanced two-day seminar is offered Feb.9-10 for $200. For additional thrill and challenge, the Mogul Clinic will be held Mar. 10 at a cost of $100. All seminars include lift ticket and four hours of instruction.
