BRETTON WOODS, New Hampshire ??” At the BodeFest Ski and Golf Challenge 2006 at the Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods, Bode Miller & Bretton Woods’ BodeFest raised $9,500 at the annual event this past spring. All proceeds raised at the event benefiting Bode’s own charity, The Turtle Ridge Foundation, were donated by Miller to the Bretton Woods Adaptive Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports and recreation to people with disabilities.

This ski and golf event challenged four-person teams in two of Bode’s favorite sports: skiing and golf ??“ all in the same weekend. BodeFest proved to be a huge success for the third year in a row. Fabulous cool nights and warm sunny days made for superb skiing and golfing conditions. Competitors in the event included former Olympian and gold medal skier, Bill Johnson.

“Through my charitable organization, The Turtle Ridge Foundation, the Bretton Woods Adaptive Program benefits from our celebration this weekend of family, friends, skiing and golf at Bretton Woods,” said Miller.

Cris Criswell, Bretton Woods Adaptive Ski School Supervisor, commented, “On behalf of our students, volunteers and families, the Bretton Woods Adpative Program thanks Bode Miller and the Bretton Woods Mountain Resort for their extraordinary support and commitment to our program! Together with their help, we can accomplish the vision of a year-round adaptive sports and recreation program at the Resort for all to enjoy. Let there be no barriers to anyone seeking respite, enjoyment and adventure in the White Mountains.”
