Cannon Mountain Area Inns offer Ski & Stay Packages

FRANCONIA, New Hampshire — Cannon Mountain and several area inns and resorts are teaming up to offer Ski & Stay packages this winter, providing winter sports enthusiasts with great deals for getting out to enjoy the snow.

“Cannon has partnered with a variety of local lodging establishments for great ski and stay packages,” said Amy Bassett, Marketing Director for Cannon Mountain. “Reservations can be made directly on Cannon’s website (www.cannonmt.com).”

Skiers can enjoy the fine accommodations at the historic Franconia Inn, complete with two nights lodging, two gourmet dinners, breakfast, and two days of skiing at Cannon with prices starting at $224. The Franconia Inn (www.franconiainn.com) also offers an extensive system of cross-country ski trails as well as rentals of cross-country skis, ice skates and snowshoes.

The Sugar Hill Inn offers guests a complimentary lift ticket with a three-night stay in the inn, or two lift tickets with a three-night stay in the inn’s Dream Cottage. The Sugar Hill Inn (www.sugarhillinn.com) also boasts gourmet fare in its restaurant.

At the Sunset Hill House, guests will receive two Cannon lift tickets with a night’s stay. Nordic skiing is also available on site at the Sunset Hill House. Mid-week stays start at $400.

Three lodging facilities south of Franconia Notch are also offering packages in conjunction with Cannon Mountain.

Skiers can enjoy two nights of deluxe accommodations with Inn Season Pollard Brook and skiing at Cannon, starting at $173. Inn Season Pollard Brook (www.innseason.com) is located in Lincoln.

The Indian Head Resort, also in Lincoln, offers Ski & Stay packages starting at just $64.50 (www.indianheadresort.com).

Parker’s Motel (www.parkersmotel.com), at the south end of Franconia Notch, offers one-day and two-day Ski & Stay packages starting at $55.

The skiing is fabulous this winter, and with these deals, a day on the slopes followed by a cozy evening is just a mouse-click away.

Cannon Mountain has 60 trails, 9 lifts, and terrain for all ability levels. Cannon has the longest vertical drop and the highest lift-served terrain in New Hampshire.
