Cranmore Family Fitness Center Offers New Classes

NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — Cranmore Family Fitness Center has added more ways to energize your workout and connect with the fitness community through the addition of new staff, programs and classes.

Amanda Wirling and Sandra Mercurio are new to the Personal Training team. Wirling specializes in using cardiovascular workouts for weight loss and training triathletes. She is a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor who will make you a more efficient swimmer, and as a Spinning instructor will get you ready for the bike portion of the race. Mercurio offers a Getting Fit to Ride program, focusing on personal training for equestrians. She specializes in dressage and distance riders however fitness enthusiasts of all types can book her for personal training. Cranmore continues to offer small group personal training sessions for as low as $14 a session.

CFFC’s experienced Massage team includes Tamara Wood, Jeanne Twehous, Joyce Borthwick and Elena Mosston. Yoga instructor Kara Rayder offers Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and yoga massage private sessions, in addition to instructing traditional yoga classes as part of the ongoing fitness schedule. Fall Tennis sessions are in full swing, with programs offered for preschoolers and up. New this fall is Quick Start Tennis, which incorporates a smaller playing surface, lower nets, lighter balls and smaller rackets to make learning fast and simple. A Quick Start Tournament for kids age 5-10 will be held on Friday, November 28. Mini Singles Tournaments will be held on November 29-30. Women’s doubles leagues – the perfect way to return to the game of tennis – are offered Thursday nights through the winter.

CFFC is opening its doors to the public for an upcoming Body Renew Potluck on Tuesday, November 18 at 11am and a Yoga Community Potluck on Monday, November 10 at 7pm. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share and be a part of the fitness community.
