Cranmore Opens Indoor Fun Zone

NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — Cranmore Mountain today announced the addition of a huge indoor activity center with a variety of fun for the whole family. Called the Cranmore Fun Zone, it features a giant inflatable obstacle course, oversized bouncy house, and pick-up games of floor hockey, tennis, dodge ball, Twister and board games. The Fun Zone is set up indoors at Cranmore Family Fitness Center and will be open Saturday and vacation period evenings for the winter season starting December 26 through Saturday, March 21, 2009. A preview of the Fun Zone will open Thanksgiving Weekend on Friday, Nov. 28 and Sat., Nov. 29, 2008.

Ben Wilcox, Cranmore’s General Manager stated, “Cranmore has long been known as a winter vacation destination for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. The addition of our new indoor Fun Zone is a great supplement to those activities, or an opportunity for those who do not ski or ride to have fun at Cranmore indoors.”

The Fun Zone costs just $10 per person for all ages (2 and up) for two hour admission. Guests may add access to Cranmore’s indoor climbing wall for 2 climbs for a combined ticket cost of $22.

The Cranmore Fun Zone will premiere on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29 with special opening weekend hours of 4pm – 7pm. Thereafter, the Fun Zone will be open the following dates from 4:30pm – 9pm: Dec. 26-Jan. 3; Jan. 10, 17, 18, 24, 31; Feb. 7; Feb. 14-21; Feb. 28; Mar. 7; Mar. 14; and Mar. 21.

The Fun Zone consists of a 65-foot inflatable obstacle course, 20×20-foot bouncy house, tennis, dodge ball, floor hockey, a preschool area, bean bag toss, basketball, Twister, dress-up and more.

Children under age 14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times and children must be 42″ tall to use the obstacle course or bouncy house.
