Easter Sunday Sunrise Service & Egg Hunt at Waterville Valley
WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire — Thanks to its 4,000′ elevation and a snowy month of March, Easter Sunday at Waterville Valley will be a prime time for a family ski getaway. April 8th starts off with Waterville’s annual sunrise Easter Service at the summit. Open to skiers and non-skiers, you can either ride the lift back down or take advantage of complimentary skiing and riding until 8:00 am . A full Easter Sunday breakfast will be served at the Alpine Grill in the resort’s base lodge immediately following the service. Over on the J-bar, the Easter Bunny will be hiding hundreds of Easter Eggs for a special kids hunt for ages 10 and under. The Easter Egg hunt is on from 8-9 am.
Another Waterville Valley tradition, Do the Dew Pond Skimming is a family affair. Registration is that morning at the Events Yurt from 9-10 am. It’s open to the first 75 to enter and the show begins at 11:00 am. Rumor has it that the Waterville Valley Ski Patrol has already started training.
