HIGHMOUNT, New York — Conditions are perfect on the slopes of the Belleayre Ski Center and besides the great skiing and riding, there are plenty of other attractions in store this January at New York’s Winter Snow Park.

On Wednesdays, Belleayre offers $20 lift tickets with $10 rentals all month long. This will lead us into our annual Winter Festival Week at the end of the month where lift tickets will be $20 and rentals $10 from January 25th through 29th.

This Friday, Belleayre will again offer Customer Appreciation Day with $25 lift tickets. What a great way to start the long, holiday weekend. Speaking of weekends, we will host the Belleayre Cup Race this Saturday with prizes being awarded for a variety of age groups for both men and women. On Sunday, the United Way of Ulster County will be hosting a charity event. The first 200 guests who donate $10 to the United Way of Ulster County will receive a coupon for a $25 lift ticket good for that day only. Donation tables will be set up in the Garden Room of the Overlook Lodge and next to the Guest Service Desk in the Discovery Lodge.

Make your reservations for the 7th Annual Taste of the Town on Monday, January 25th at the Discovery Lodge. This year’s theme is “Murder on the Mountain,” a murder, mystery dinner. Tickets are $30 and all proceeds will go to the Belleayre Region Lodging and Tourism Association. For ticket information, call (845) 254-5600, ext. 1361

This year’s Snowball Dinner and Dance will be held Saturday, January 30th in the Discovery Lodge. Sponsored by the Coalition to Save Belleayre, the Snowball is an annual fundraiser for the Belleayre Music Conservatory. Join us this year as we honor the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation for improving the quality of life in the Catskills for more than 40 years. Tickets are available by contacting Donald Myers at (845) 254-5600 ext 1361.

So make plans to visit the Belleayre Ski Center where the skiing and riding can’t be beat.
