Killington’s Nor’beaster Music Lineup Announced

KillingtonNOR’BEASTER grows with live performances by Marco Benevento, Pete Kilpatrick Band with John Popper, Fuel and more

KILLINGTON, Vt. (March 5, 2013) –Vermont’s Killington Resort adds more star-studded bands to NOR’BEASTER, a seven week celebration of spring in the Green Mountains. Newly announced guests include Marco Benevento, the Pete Kilpatrick Band with John Popper from Blues Traveler and Fuel, not to mention the best spring skiing and riding in the East.

“Killington Resort is thrilled to host a seven week celebration featuring live performances from top-notch musicians, on-snow and off-snow events and activities for all ages,” stated Jeff Alexander, events and sponsorships manager for Killington Resort. “This is an inaugural year for NOR’BEASTER, and we’re looking forward to kick off on March 17.”

In conjunction with NOR’BEASTER’s snoe.down, the all-ages winter music & sports festival hosted by moe., Marco Benevento, will perform live at the Wobbly Barn March 21. An inventive musician who specializes in acoustic piano set-up, tickets for Benevento’s special set are on sale now for $10.

The following weekend brings Portland, Maine’s, Pete Kilpatrick Band with Blues Traveler lead vocalist and Grammy-winner, John Popper to the Wobbly Barn stage. Advance tickets for the Friday, March 29 show are on sale for $15. NOR’BEASTER will be capping off March with the Hibernation Park Jam March 30 at Bear Mountain followed by Fuel performing live Saturday evening, March 30, at the Wobbly Barn. Advance tickets are on sale now for $25.

Additionally, Pete Kilpatrick Band with John Popper and Fuel combo tickets can be purchased for $35 and Killington is offering a 25% discount on select lodging for the March 29-30 shows. Tickets and lodging must be purchased by March 14, 2013 to receive the 25% discount.

Moving into April, the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge returns April 6-7 as well as some of Killington’s all-time favorite bands, Radio Nashville and Garden State Radio will be jamming out all day Saturday with a DJ spinning tracks on Sunday. All shows this weekend are free of charge and open to the public at Bear Mountain.
