WATERVILLE VALLY, New Hampshire — It’s all play over Labor Day weekend with this End of Summer Bash Package at Waterville Valley. The 3-night package is available August 30-September 3 and includes 3 nights lodging at Town Square and 3 days of passes for the following Summer Unlimited activities: Golf, mountain bike rentals, outdoor tennis on the resort’s 18 clay courts, canoe or paddleboats on Corcoran’s Pond, a scenic chairlift ride up Snow’s Mountain, daily access to the White Mountain Athletic Club, and Open Gym at the WV Recreation Department. The End of Summer Bash package with a three bedroom condominium (sleeps 8) starts at $654 for 3 nights while the package with a one bedroom condominium (sleeps 4) starts at $432. Off the courts and greens, there’s a full schedule of events starting with Saturday’s Open Air Market from 8:00 am-Noon with local produce, herbs and cut flowers, then an outdoor concert with Kieran McNally Duo from 6:00-9 pm. Sunday, Sole City performs 12:00-3 pm outdoors in Town Square followed by kids games from 1:00-4 with the featured Charity Duck Race at 4:00. Ducks are for sale at Town Square shops for $3 a piece with all proceeds going to the NH Humane Society. There will be cash prizes of $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd and $25 for 3rd. All ages are welcome and you need not be present to win. Festivities end at 9:00 pm with fireworks.
