Magic Mountain’s terrain is an ideal environment for developing great skiers and riders. And, it’s programs for children, as well as adults, take full advantage of groomed beginner and intermediate trails, steep expert runs and adventurous off-pisted glades for varying levels of ability and training.

Magic’s Alpine Training Center offers a “Devo” or Development program for youngsters ages 5-8 which includes all-day, all-season lessons on varied terrain to teach ski and snowboard fundamentals. The Devo program then serves as a feeder into a choice of alpine racing or
freeride/freeski programs where coaches train the kids for high performance competitions. But, most all the children are taught in a way that yields a true love of the sport and ability to take-on all that skiing and snowboading offers.

For adults and children desiring just occasional instruction, Magic’s learning center offers group and private lessons at very reasonable rates.

Magic also offers a special Women’s Adventure Clinic which will be held twice this season and feature full day training with a skilled freeskiing instructor designed for women who want to take their ability to the next level and tackle some of the east’s most challenging terrain with confidence. Advanced reservations are required and the clinics include food and apres ski fun!
