September 18, 2013, Londonderry, VT–It’s that time of year in Vermont when visitors return to see the fall foliage. And at Magic Mountain, its skiers and riders return each fall not only to see the fall colors take over the Green Mountains, but to help this community-centric ski area open for the winter season. Existing glades are cleaned up, new glades are started, and projects are completed around the lodge. The Volunteer Day tradition continues at Magic on the Saturdays of September 21st and October 12th.

“This is part of what makes Magic different,” said Jim Sullivan, President of Magic Mountain. “We approach this not as a corporate entity, but as a dedicated corps of ski and ride enthusiasts who together have an active role in Magic’s future. Clearing out an existing glade or carving a new one helps us create a better experience for everyone this winter.”
