HUNTER, New York — Hunter Mountain’s March Into Spring pass is available for its second year for $149. The season pass is valid March 1 through the end of the 08/09 season (potentially allowing for up to 6 weeks of skiing & riding for $149). March Into Spring passes are on sale now at

The pass pays for itself in less than three visits. Hunter has a base exceeding 6 feet in many areas throughout its 55 trails, and expects to operate well into April. The pass is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy spring skiing or riding in the Catskills. The pass coincides with March Mountain Madness, an area-wide promotion including many lodging specials through the month of March.

“We’re glad we’re able to make such an incredible offer available to our customers,” says Brian Czarnecki, Director of Marketing and Sales for Hunter Mountain. “The Catskills are incredible in the spring, and Hunter has a ton of snow. Between huge savings at Hunter and a lot of the area lodging specials, March and April are months filled with money-saving opportunities. The economy is tough right now, and Hunter’s trying to make it as easy as possible to get out on the slopes and have some fun.”

The March Into Spring pass will be available for the remainder of the 08/09 season. The pass is valid every day starting March 1st and ending on the last day of the 08/09 spring season.
