MOUNT SNOW, VT ??” Mount Snow is pleased to announce the return of Mega Mother Hucker, on Saturday, January 15. This big air competition features top East Coast skiers and snowboarders performing tricks while soaring over a live musical band. The best of the best will go home with a piece of the $5,000 cash purse.

This exciting event is open to both professional and semi-professional athletes age 14 or older. Qualifying begins the afternoon of Saturday, January 15 with final runs taking place in the evening under lights and fireworks. “This event is a benchmark of the progress of freestyle snow sports,” states Mount Snow Events Director Christopher Minnes. “We’re expecting a large field of some of the top athletes in the sport.”

The competition will take place behind the Grand Summit Resort Hotel on Video Hill at Mount Snow. Boston-based band Plan B will provide the musical entertainment while fireworks and athletes soar overhead. Awards will take place immediately after competition concludes. Additional prizes supplied by Kodak, Sobe, Spy, and Nature Valley.
