East Burke, Vermont  – Registration is open for New England’s largest mountain bike festival, NEMBAfest @ Kingdom Trails. The festival will build upon last year’s success at which 1231 mountain bikers gathered in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont for the inauguralNEMBAfest at Kingdom Trails. The New England Mountain Bike Association, Kingdom Trails Association and Burke Mountain Resort partnered to produce the festival, and it surpassed everyone’s expectations for a first-ever festival at the fabled Kingdom Trails.

The three-day event will be held at the base lodge of Burke Mountain Resort, and features camping, a large industry expo with over 50 bike industry vendors, lift served mountain biking at the Burke Bike Park, scores of group rides, live music, local food and beer along with various mountain bike celebrities in attendance.

“This is a great event for everyone who enjoys mountain biking, young and old,” says Philip Keyes, NEMBA’s Executive Director. “There hasn’t been a mountain bike event in the northeast this big since the heydays of Pedrosfest. We’ve always wanted to stage an event at Kingdom Trails because their trail system is one of the very best, and now that Burke Mountain Resort has embraced mountain biking we have the perfect venue.”

The bicycle industry agrees-last year the vendor area at the expo area sold out and had a wait list six weeks before the event. “If there’s one “must go to” mountain bike festival in the east, this is the one” commented Davis Carver of Bikeman.com and Carver Bikes.

The 2013 NEMBAfest will take place June 21-23, 2013, and should prove to be even larger. Industry representatives are urged to contact Philip Keyes of NEMBA to be placed on the expo invitation list, pk@nemba.org.

Tickets for the 2013 NEMBAfest are on sale now at www.skiburke.com.
