Oktoberfest to Kick Off September 29 & 30 with a Second Weekend October 6 & 7 at Hunter Mountain
Featuring Jimmy Sturr, Colors in the Catskills Motorcycle Rally and Das Laufwerk Eurocar Rally
Hunter, NY – The annual Oktoberfest at Hunter Mountain is set to kick off September 29th & 30th, featuring German and German-American entertainment in the beauty of the Great Northern Catskills in autumn. The Oktoberfest festivities will return for a second weekend on October 6th & 7th. A modern celebration of the harvest, the free festival will feature vendors, crafts for children, music and entertainment and much more. Jimmy Sturr is scheduled to headline on Saturday, October 6th. The festival grounds open at 11am each day and close at 6:15pm. The first weekend is held in conjunction with the Max BMW Colors in the Catskills motorcycle rally including dirt and trail riding with guided base to summit rides. All bikes are welcome. Camping is also available for Colors in the Catskills for a fee. The second weekend is held in conjunction with the Das Laufwerk Eurocar Rally including music, entertainment and automotive vendors. All European Cars are welcome.
There will be numerous art, craft and food vendors located throughout the festival grounds spanning the indoor and outdoor areas of Hunter Mountain on both weekends. The festival will take place rain or shine and includes a designated children’s entertainment area performing puppet shows, magic acts and more.
