Pillsbury State Park Closed due to Flooding
CONCORD, New Hampshire ??” The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation personnel in cooperation with the Washington Fire Department have successfully evacuated Pillsbury State Park in Washington today. Due to the extreme amount of rain received severe flooding was caused within the park. This caused campsite and road washouts. It was decided for the safety of the park guests that a volunteer evacuation was recommended.
Park officials have closed the park to assess damage. The park will remain closed until all assessment is complete and repairs can be made.
