Snowshoe Mountain Anniversary Celebration Scheduled Dec 19 – 21st

Festivities include discounts on skiing and riding, dance and hot tub parties, on-snow games, costume contests and a live concert by the quintessential funk/soul artists of the 1970s and 1980s, The Commodores.

The resort will mark its December 19th Official Birthday with retro 70’s lift ticket pricing, guests will pay just $14 for a full day lift ticket on that day. These throwback lift ticket prices are only available online at www.snowshoemtn.com.
On Friday evening, electronic dance musician Big Chocolate, a favorite among today’s college audiences, will perform live in Snowshoe’s Big Top event center. This is an all-ages event, with tickets for just $10.
Multi-platinum legends, The Commodores, will perform live inside The Big Top on Saturday, December 21 at 8pm. Renowned for the R&B hits “Just to Be Close to You,” “Easy,” and “Brickhouse,” to name but a few, Commodores were one of the top bands during their long tenure at Motown. The group is credited with seven number one songs and a host of other Top Ten hits on the Billboard charts, and their vast catalog includes more than 50 albums. Tickets for this all-ages event are $40 walk-up and $30 if purchased in advance. Tickets are limited and advanced purchases are strongly recommended.
