Warren, VT (August 27, 2012) – Sugarbush Resort is partnering with Mad River Glen and rolling out a value-priced season pass option for skiers and snowboarders in their 20s.

The For20s Pass at Sugarbush Resort boasts an affordable price point and unlimited access to both Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen at Sugarbush. The option is available to anyone ages 19-29 for only $319.

Adding considerable value to an already attractively-priced product, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen teamed up to offer the “Add Mad” add-on to the For20s Pass. For only $80, purchasers of the For20s Pass at Sugarbush can purchase a midweek, unrestricted season pass to Mad River Glen.

“The Mad River Valley is a special place to ski and we are hoping to attract the next generations of skiers and riders to our area,” said Win Smith, President of Sugarbush Resort. “People in their 20s are busy starting careers and in some cases starting families. We want to make sure they’re able to keep skiing and snowboarding a part of their lives.”

The three mountains are spread out over the same 9 miles of ridgeline with only very short drives separating their base areas; Sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen are connected by the Slide Brook Express chairlift. All three areas are connected by the Mad Bus, a complimentary winter shuttle service that services all three mountains on weekends and holidays, and Sugarbush’ two mountains daily throughout the season. For20s Add-Mad Pass purchasers will have unlimited access to 156 trails, 20 lifts and vast gladed terrain.

With 2600′ of vertical, 111 trails, and more than 20 wooded areas on the trail maps, Sugarbush Resort’s two mountains–Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen–offer a true alpine experience for all levels of skiers and riders. Mt. Ellen also offers a much sought-after terrain park with a dedicated chair lift.

At Mad River Glen, skiers (sorry, no snowboarders here) enjoy unfettered terrain and a classic New England ski experience. Accessed by the legendary Single Chair and a network of 3 other lifts, the Mad River experience offers 45 trails of steeps, bumps and gentle cruisers.

For snowboarders, Sugarbush continues to offer its standard For20s Pass at the lower price of $319. All For20s Passes are on sale at their lowest prices through September 12, 2012.

Outside Magazine called the Mad River Valley, which includes Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, the “Best Ski Town in the East” (2010). Sugarbush was voted “Favorite Ski Resort in New England” by Boston.com readers (2012) and received the OnTheSnow.com Visitor’s Choice Awards for “Best Terrain in the Northeast” and “Best Overall Resort in the Northeast” (2012). Ski Magazine called Sugarbush “Vermont skiing at its best” (2011) and rated it #1 in Terrain Variety in the East (2010).
