Taylor Berns to Represent Sunapee at the Next Snow Search Finals in Keystone Colorado

NEWBURY, New Hampshire ??” On Saturday, January 22, 2005 Mount Sunapee hosted a regional qualifier for the inaugural Next Snow Search event this February at Keystone Resort in Colorado.

Next Snow Search is a national quest to find the neXtreme generation of skiers and snowboarders (ages 9-13). It’s the first all-mountain, all-equipment, and all-person snowsports championship. It’s not just a competition as style, attitude and personality are also factors. Boys, girls, skiers, snowboarders and adaptive athletes are all part of the fun mix.

With a number of strong candidates at Mount Sunapee, Taylor Berns of New London, NH was selected by the four (4) judges to be Mount Sunapee’s representative at Keystone in the final event, which will take place on February 10-13, 2005. Taylor, along with one parent, will receive complimentary airfare, lodging, lift tickets as well as entry into all events over the course of the weekend.

In addition to Taylor, Mount Sunapee also has selected the following participants to be members of the Mount Sunapee Next Snow Ski & Ride Team and also have the opportunity to represent Mount Sunapee in Colorado: Ryan Peel and Craig Shaffer. Congratulations to all.
