Wachusett thanks Mother Nature – the snowmaking crew finally outsmarted her and they have opened for the season on Monday. Wachusett calls their snowmakers the Department of Mother Nature – their round-the-clock effort last weekend allowed them to open on Ralph’s Run, Challenger and Ollie’s. Monadnock Express Debuts December 18
Wachusett is also hard at work preparing the new Mondanock Express Quad Chairlift. Progress has been incredible these past few weeks and the Grand Opening for the new lift is scheduled Sunday, December 18. The head of the Dopplemayr lift company, Andrea Dopplemayr from Wilfort, Austria, will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and outdoor festivities at 11 a.m.
