HIGHMOUNT, New York ??” Women’s Seminar Day has been a long running and much anticipated event on the Belleayre Mountain winter calendar. This year, in addition to the single day seminars, the highly regarded Belleayre Ski School has expanded the program to include a full weekend of instruction, information and conversation. The first two-day group will meet Saturday and Sunday, February 12 and 13, a change from the original Feb 5-6 dates. The final one-day program is still on the schedule for Friday, March 4.

Renowned Ski School Director Sue Moses will be the host, speaker and lead instructor for the program, which is designed specifically for women who are interested in learning and improving skills within a comfortable, sociable environment. Female skiers and riders of all levels preferring to be taught by other women are invited to join in for an exciting and fun-filled experience.

Saturday begins with breakfast and conversation in the Overlook Lodge at 8:00AM, on the snow by 9:30, a break for lunch and discussion and out for afternoon instruction until 3:30. Over the two days, topics will include helpful tips on equipment, body and mind fitness and proper focus. Among other goals for the group: learning to overcome anxieties, handling challenging conditions and dealing with other variables encountered while improving your skill and/or comfort level. This all-inclusive weekend package with lift tickets, lessons and meals is $200.

Belleayre is the place to get it all together: trails are groomed to perfection, you are able to learn at your own pace and you will be in the hands of true and dedicated professionals.
