About New Hermon Mountain

Hermon Mountain is a small family oriented mountain located in Hermon, Maine, a few miles from Bangor. However, don’t let the family atmosphere fool you, for at Hermon you will find some fun and even challenging runs to choose from. The three main trails (Cloudnine, Scenic and Lakeview) head straight down the fall line, and the rest of the trails are mostly narrow New England style runs with a variety of dips, turns and pitches. Beginners will enjoy Slowpoke and Lazylane and more advanced skiers will find challenge on Cloudnine, Jammer, Snake and a number of other black diamond trails. For park rats there is a terrain park on Lakeview with a variety of different elements. Snowmaking covers most of the trails and the grooming is fantastic. Hermon also offers night skiing six days a week, and a tubing park which is also lit. The season generally lasts from mid-December to late March.
