Hit BV on Friday Jan 25-- yes, the day after the torrential "R"-- for the Subaru appreciation day (free lift ticket for Suby owners, and 50% off for up to 3 others). Trail report in the lodge showed only one diamond run was open that day. Caught 3rd chair on Vista- as we skied, we realized more terrain was open than was listed on the report. Skied alternating between Vista & Timberline lifts most of the day (Wilderness was closed). Snow was surprisingly carve-able due to the 3 inches of fresh that was deposited after the "R" stopped. Overall a great day, followed by food & drinks in Waterbury.
