Resort or Ski Area: Gunstock

Conditions: Machine Groomed, Man Made

Trip Report: Another day, another run up to Gunstock. Today I arrived a little before 9am (late start from the flatlands). First two runs were on Trigger, the second two were on Gunsmoke (they had lower gunsmoke in play). Next was off to Derringer/Smith… Made my way into the ski school and got the little guy signed up for ski lessons! Feb 1st will be his first day out on the snow! Made my way up to to Tiger, which was still slick despite the fan guns going on down the bottom. Red Hat was next, and that was a great run. Made my way to the bar, for lunch… Back up tot he top for Trigger and Gunsmoke. Then off to Pistol for a few runs before calling it a day (1pm) on Smith. Hopefully this weather even will give them some base needed to build. The conditions are good, for what we’ve been dealt with. Hopefully next trip out will be midweek sometime (Friday maybe?) up to Ragged or somewhere else. Just don’t want to dump the money on less than stellar conditions.
