Located near Bangor, Hermon Mountain is a small, chairlift served ski area which also has a popular snow tubing business. There are some decent novice and intermediate trails covered with snowmaking that ski similar in size to Campton Mountain in New Hampshire. Perhaps of more interest are the fun classic New England narrow trails that wind through the woods.

Lift ticket and food prices are extremely reasonable. Certainly convenient if in the Bangor area and looking for some skiing!
