Ski Sundown

Warm sunny day at the end of Feb. should have been packed today but it wasn't. slept late, arrived late. I hate arriving at lunch due to the crowds. but today no crowds in the lodge. multiple open tables. plenty of bag cubbies open too.


Sundown was 100% open. Snow as good, early spring conditions for the most part. Not as soft as i'd hoped for but had fun as usual. There seemed to be some type of training event(s) going on. it felt like there were more workers skiing (ski patrol, blue jacket instructors and orange jacket ambassadors) than customers. all the workers were in packs as if doing clinics.

lifts were ski on. wonder how late they can go with the weather and crowds they've been getting(not getting).
