NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, NH today announced a new fundraiser for local non-profits. Called Tubin’ for a Cause, the program gives selected charities their own special night at Cranmore’s Arctic Blast Tubing Park. Participants will receive a discount on their tubing ticket and the charity receives a donation for every discount voucher redeemed that evening.

Tubin’ for a Cause takes place every Thursday this winter from 3-9pm at the Tubing Park (vacation dates excluded). The first three non-profits selected are Project Graduation for February 7; Jen’s Friends for February 14; and the Mount Washington Valley Children’s Museum on March 13.

Cranmore still has dates available for non-profits wishing to apply. To apply, organizations may download an application online at www.cranmore.com/tubinforacause or stop by the resort’s Guest Services desk to pick up a copy. Discount vouchers for participating charities may also be downloaded from that same webpage.

“Cranmore has long been the site of many events that benefit local non-profits, including the Jen’s Friend Hill Climb, Race to Beat Cancer and the Great Penguin Race. Now with the addition of Tubin’ for a Cause, we are able to support even more organizations who provide such important services in Mount Washington Valley,” stated Cranmore GM Ben Wilcox.

Tubing Park Tickets for all ages cost only $24 for an unlimited day or night ticket (9a.m. – 4p.m. or 4p.m. – 9p.m.) or $18 for a 2-hour session. Kids over 42″ tall can ride alone and those under 42″ ride with a grown-up (complimentary admission for children riding with a grown-up). Those providing a Tubin’ for a Cause voucher for select dates will receive a $3 discount.

The Tubing Park is located at the base of the mountain between the main base lodge and the Family Fitness Center and is New Hampshire’s most popular tubing venue.
