Henniker, NH, May 25, 2011 — Pats Peak, southern New Hampshire’s favorite mountain, announces the sale of double chairs from the Valley Double Chairlift. With the installation of new wider, more comfortable chairs in 2010, the old chairs are now available to the public for purchase. These double chairs are all truly remarkable pieces of skiing history.

This lift was purchased new by Pats Peak in 1969 from Mueller Lifts, a Swiss company that continues to manufactures chairlifts in Europe. These Valley Double lift chairs have transported more than 10,000,000 (give or take a bunch) Pats Peak skiers and riders throughout its 42 years of service.

These double lift chairs are a perfect addition to your home or outdoor area offering a unique piece of skiing nostalgia from Pats Peak. These historical chairs can be restored and hung in a backyard as a garden bench/swing or purchasers can have some fun and be creative with their own ideas.

Pats Peak would love to see what has been created with these chairs. Purchasers are asked to submit a picture of their personalized chair to marketing@patspeak.com by Friday, September 30th. All photos are subject to approval and Pats Peak reserves the rights to publish the photos to Facebook. A contest gallery will then be posted on Facebook. The voting gallery will be open from October 3rd through 9am on November 7th, and the winner will receive a $200 Pats Peak Gift Card. The winner will be announced November 7, 2011. See the Pats Peak Facebook page for more details on the photo contest: http://www.Facebook.com/patspeakskiarea .
