A Summer of "Unlimited" Fun in Waterville Valley’s Town Square
WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” Waterville Valley Resort’s Town Square offers an “Unlimited” amount of summer family fun in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains beginning on Memorial Day weekend. Located in the center of Waterville Valley, Town Square hosts an assortment of shops, dining, entertainment and recreational activities to keep guests engaged all season long.
Highlighted by the “Summer Unlimited” program, guests who stay at the Town Square Condominiums can enjoy an array of free daily activities. From the Adventure Center, guests are entitled to 2 free hours of mountain bike rentals per day on 70+ km of maintained trails and local roads. Boating on Corcoran’s Pond is available with pedal boats, kayaks or canoes for 1 hour per day. Guests also have unlimited use of the outdoor clay tennis courts, 9 holes a day on the nine-hole golf course, unlimited use of the skate and BMX park, one ride per person, per stay, up the scenic Snow’s Mountain chairlift, and unlimited use of the White Mountain Athletic Club. Exploration around Waterville Valley by foot will lead guests on miles of well-marked and well-maintained trails, to the top of numerous 4000′ mountains and stunning scenery. Lodging rates start at just $90 mid-week and $120 weekend for a one bedroom condo until June 29. From June 30 – September 3, rates start at $130 mid-week and $150 weekend for a one bedroom condo. All rates are per night and include tax, resort fees and Summer Unlimited activities.
For those guests needing to cool off during the hot summer months, the Waterville Valley Athletic Club offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, weight rooms, and cardiovascular equipment. Offered by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department, kids will have access to a multitude of programs such as; Story and Craft Hours, Jr. Chefs, Sports Hour, and Kids Night Out. Kids and adults can enjoy Bingo, campfires, Open Gym, and a selection of nature hikes. Adults can also participate in fitness classes such as indoor cycling, yoga or pilates. Of course shopping is another favorite activity and the Town Square hosts numerous shops and restaurants to meet the needs and tastes of every guest.

May 28-Eighth Annual Chili Challenge
Waterville Valley restaurants compete in Town Square for the title of the best chili around! There will be a small fee for sampling and then you can vote for your favorite chili. Free outdoor concert in the Gazebo with Ricky & The Giants from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The amazing Juggling Jim at 3 p.m. and vintage car cruise night from 6 – 8.
June 10- Grand Opening Golf Tournament
Sponsored by the Waterville Company and Waterville Valley Golf Course. Proceeds to benefit the BBTS Ski Club and Waterville Valley Academy. Morning 9 hole stroke play and afternoon 9 hole scramble. Family BBQ to follow at Aglio. Details/Registration Forms available on line at www.wvbbts.org.
July 4- INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Join us to celebrate Independence Day 2006. There will be a parade at 4 p.m. and free outdoor concerts from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. with Crazy Eddie and then 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with The Bombers. Then end the evening with everyone’s’ favorite fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
July 22- Bluegrass Festival
The Bluegrass Festival is held in Town Square, rain or shine, and is a full day festival starting at noon with bands, kid’s activities, Travelin’ Barnyard, face painting, and BBQ, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Adult admission includes raffle ticket for prize drawing held Saturday night. Prizes include Gift certificates for Town Square businesses, Lodging packages, Golf, chairlift rides, and more! August 12- 7TH ANNUAL CHOCOLATE AND JAZZ FESTIVAL
It will be a smooth treat for the senses at Waterville Valley’s Town Square on Saturday, August 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. A free outdoor concert featuring the smooth sounds of the Rob Dumais Jazz Trio will accompany a selection of smooth, chocolate temptations prepared by Town Square merchants.
August 18- Swing It
Can ya swing it for Friends of the Arts? This fun dance party will help us to ensure thousands of children in our community receive equal educational art opportunities. Join us to celebrate the end of a great summer here in Waterville Valley! Free outdoor concerts from Jim Hollis, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Hey Buddy, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Also the annual charity Duck Race with cash prizes, games and prizes for all ages. Fireworks at 9 p.m.
