AlpineZone Summit 7.0 at Sugarloaf Mountain Scheduled for January 29th – 31st, 2016
Members of popular ski and snowboard forum to gather at Sugarloaf for annual event in January
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – The northeast’s most popular online outdoor adventure forum, AlpineZone.com, will return to Sugarloaf for the seventh annual AlpineZone Summit this winter, January 29-31, 2016. AlpineZone.com members will enjoy discounted lodging packages, special après ski parties, and an exclusive first tracks experience on Sunday morning.
This will mark the seventh consecutive year that the Summit has been held at Sugarloaf.

This year’s Summit will begin on Friday night with a welcome party, hosted by AlpineZone administrators at the Widowmaker Lounge in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge. The party will feature drinks, live music, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Sugarloaf.
This year’s event will feature the return of the AlpineZone Challenge, in which members will be invited to take two timed slalom runs in Sugarloaf’s Race Arena. The member will the fast combined time will be crowned champion at the Saturday afternoon après party.
At the AlpineZone Apres Party in the Widowmaker Loft, members will enjoy complimentary appetizers and sign up for first-tracks on Sunday morning. The Apres Party will also feature the annual AlpineZone Awards, recognizing many of the forum’s most active members.
