Attitash Hosted 15th Annual New England Cystic Fibrosis Ski Challenge

BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” March 11-12, 2006 the Northern New England Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held their 15th Annual New England Cystic Fibrosis Ski Challenge at Attitash. Since 1992 the event has helped to raise over $3 million for Cystic Fibrosis research. This year’s event had 350 participants and raised over $133,000.

“We could not have asked for a better day – the weather, the skiing, and most importantly the giving spirit of everyone involved in helping us to add tomorrows everyday to the lives of those with cystic fibrosis,” said Marsha Bottino, director of special events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“We enjoy hosting the event and being part of such an important fundraiser. The organization does a superb job of putting together this special day,” said Attitash Brand Manager, Jesse Mosston.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation assures the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. Attitash is in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Rt. 302 in Bartlett. During the winter Attitash offers 2 mountains with 70 trails and 22 miles of skiing and riding on 280 acres.
