Attitash Hosts Cystic Fibrosis Ski Challenge

BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” March 12-13, 2005 the Northern New England Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation holds their 14th Annual New England Cystic Fibrosis Ski Challenge at Attitash. Since 1992 the event has helped to raise over $2.5 million for Cystic Fibrosis research.

“We’re hoping to raise at least $150,000 for the Foundation at the event,” said Marsha Dufort, director of special events for the Northern New England Chapter. “The auctions on Saturday have some great items to bid on including an all expense paid trip to Barbados.”

The Saturday live and silent auctions are open to the public and take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Attitash Base Lodge.

A limited number of tickets for the weekend fundraiser are still available. They include 2 days of skiing/riding and meals Friday through Sunday. Remaining tickets are being sold at a rate of $250 for adults and $150 for children 12 and under.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation assures the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.
