BARTLETT, New Hampshire — Skiers and riders were a part of Attitash history as the resort opened for the 07/08 season on Sunday, November 18, 2007 with top-to-bottom terrain on Illusion, marking the earliest opening of the trail in the resort’s history. For the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend several trails on Attitash will be added to the trail count including Moat, Spillway, The Learning Center, and Thad’s Choice. Thad’s Choice is home to The ATP Fly Zone Terrain Park and will have park elements in place for the weekend.

“We are thrilled to get the season started and for our guests to experience the results of our commitment to snowmaking,” said Kent Graham, V.P. & General Manager of Attitash. “We applaud the efforts of our snowmakers and our entire team but we are just getting started and will continue around-the-clock efforts until this resort is 100% open.”

Attitash will operate regular hours from 9:00 AM??“3:30 PM midweek and 8:00 AM??“3:30 PM on weekends and holiday periods. The resort will be closed on Thanksgiving Day in honor of the holiday. Early season lift tickets will be priced at $45 for adults, $35 for young adults and $30 for juniors & seniors.

The resort attributes the opening of Illusion to the productivity of the “Big Guns”, 34 state-of-the art energy efficient fan guns installed on Illusion as part of a $2.5 million snowmaking enhancement project that took place over the summer under the new ownership of Peak Resorts.
