BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” North America’s longest Alpine Slides are slated to open Saturday, May 28 for their 30th season along with the resort’s Mountain Biking, Scenic Sky Ride, Skate and BMX Parks, Trampoline Thing, Climbing Wall, Golf Driving Range and Mountainboarding. These attractions will be open on a weekends only basis until daily operations commence on June 18. Guided Horseback Tours will begin on a daily basis starting Saturday, May 28.

“We’ve been very busy transforming from ski area to summer attraction,” said Tom Chasse, managing director of Attitash. “Hopefully we’ll catch some good weekend weather. On a clear day the views from the White Mountain Observation Tower are breathtaking.”

Attitash’s four waterslides will open on June 18 along with Buddy Bear’s Playpool.

Attitash will be hosting the 4th annual Free Day on Friday, June 24. A free Value Pass, good for that day, will be provided to those who visit the ticket window on the 24th. For $29 on all other days of summer operations the Value Pass buys a day’s worth of unlimited access to most activities at Attitash. Guests may also purchase the Afternoon Value Pass after 3 p.m. any day for an additional $3, allowing for access that afternoon and the next day.

Other pass options include the Super Value Pass, a $34 Value Pass valid for two consecutive days and the $129 Summer Season Pass. Most of Attitash’s summer attractions are available for a la carte purchase as well. Guests less than 48 inches in height are offered specially priced passes.

Attitash’s Grand Summer Vacations are inclusive vacation packages complete with “fun-spots” that are redeemable at Attitash and at many Mount Washington Valley attractions including Story Land, the Mount Washington Auto Road, Conway Scenic Railroad, and select golf courses. The packages include lodging at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel located mountainside at Attitash’s Bear Peak.
