BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” With three job fairs slated for the coming weeks, Attitash has announced that seasonal and temporary employees will be eligible for greater skiing and riding benefits than in years past. Attitash has three job fairs slated in the month of October. The Kennett High School fair is Tuesday, Oct. 18, which is followed on Wednesday by the Gorham High School fair. On Saturday, Oct. 22 Attitash is holding their primary job fair at the Attitash Base Lodge from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m

“Our year round employees enjoy one of, if not the best benefit package in the Valley,” said Janice Sullivan, director of human resources at Attitash. “With the changes we’ve put in place going into this season, everyone from temp staff to full time seasonal folks will notice the extras Attitash is offering up.

One of the leading benefit boosts applies to full time seasonal employees who will not only be able to get skiing and riding privileges for themselves, but also for all dependents during their first year of service. For those looking for only a handful of shifts throughout the winter, Attitash is now offering an Attitash season pass rather than day-to-day vouchers to workers who commit to at least 15 shifts.

Attitash is encouraging and rewarding employees who car-pool to and from the resort with a new reimbursement program. Drivers who commute with at least one other employee 10-20 miles one way can receive $2 per day, while those who commute with at least one other employee 20+ miles one way, such as those from Berlin or Gorham, can receive $5 per day.

Attractive changes have also been made regarding employee food benefits. In the past, only certain locations at the resort offered 50% off to employees grabbing a bite. For the 2005-2006 season, all employees can get that rate at all foodservice areas.

“From our social events to just hitting the slopes together, Attitash has a great community feel to its workforce,” said Sullivan.

For those interested in a career move, Attitash offers a long list of benefits to its year round and extended season employees including but not limited to health, dental, life, optional life (for staff and dependents), short term disability, long term disability, vision plan, flexible benefits plan, 401K with company match, vacation, 10 personal days, tuition reimbursement, and vacation pay.

A full list of Attitash employee benefits is available at the Attitash Human Resources office, which is located upstairs in the Attitash Base Lodge on Route 302 in Bartlett. Prospective employees can call (603) 374-2368 to speak with a Human Resources representative. Employment information is also available at www.attitash.com.
