Attitash Welcomes Two New Members to Marketing Team

BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??” After 14 years as the Marketing and Brand Manager at Attitash and the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center in Bartlett, New Hampshire, John Urdi has accepted the position of Director of Marketing for Colorado Ski Country. Urdi was instrumental in the development and implementation of many of the marketing and branding strategies that helped make Attitash one of the popular winter and summer destinations in New Hampshire.

Replacing Urdi is longtime Mt. Washington Valley resident Jesse Mosston of Jackson, N.H. His experience includes five years as the marketing director for the Mt. Washington Auto Road and partner company, the Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center. Prior to that Mosston spent six years as the sales manager for North Country Radio Inc., and their station’s WMWV and WBNC. “I am very excited to join Attitash and be a part of such an impressive team,” expressed Mosston. “John Urdi did exceptional work for the company and was very involved in the community. I will be quite busy trying to fill his shoes.”

Krissy Fraser will also join the marketing team as Communications Manager. After 7 years of commuting into Boston for work with Fidelity Investments, Fraser made the move to the Mount Washington Valley in the winter of 2005. After working for Attitash as a Perfect Turn instructor, she was promoted. Fraser will be responsible for community and media relations and overseeing snow reporting. She will also write the resort’s online newsletter, which is free and available at www.attitash.com.

Tom Chasse, Managing Director for Attitash said, “We are very pleased to have Jesse and Krissy on the Attitash team. We will benefit from their diversity and experience in marketing and communications.”

Attitash is in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Rt. 302 in Bartlett. During the winter Attitash offers 70 trails representing 22 miles of skiing and riding on 280 acres. In the summer guests can enjoy North America’s longest Alpine slides, waterslides, a scenic sky ride, lift-serviced mountain biking, climbing wall, Trampoline Thing, horseback rides, driving range and skate park.

The Grand Summit Hotel has 143 rooms with amenities including year-round heated outdoor pool and spas, fitness center, massage therapy, nursery, retail shop, valet parking and dining in Crawford’s Pub and Grill.
