HIGHMOUNT, New York ??” Belleayre Mountain’s Saturday night opening of the 2005 Belleayre Music Festival found the Temptations and the Four Tops playing to a sell-out crowd. Not a seat was vacant in the tent and a newly expanded lawn seat area allowed hundreds more attendees to view the entertainers from the comfort of their folding chairs.

To augment this year’s concert series, talented Belleayre Mountain employees worked diligently in last week’s heat completing the outdoor stone terrace for Saturday’s premier of the Blue Stone Caf?В©. Staff masons laid blue stone and staff carpenters created wooden planters to enclose the patio. Nearly 100 patrons enjoyed the wine, beer and hot and cold hors d’oeuvres served by Boston Concessions. The setting was the perfect social setting for friends to mix and mingle prior to the show.

Belleayre Mountain’s very talented Donny Bush designed and created the new archway leading into the concert grounds. Designed to minimize pre-concert confusion, the archway has a wildlife theme depicting a black bear and white-tailed deer. Constructed of wood, the faux-metal structure fooled many eyes.

The weekend of festivities concluded with an impressive display of fireworks. For further information, please contact Belleayre Mountain at 845.254.5600.
