BOLTON VALLEY, Vermont ??” Bolton Valley Resort begins its renaissance with $2.3 million in mountain improvements. Celebrating its first major on-mountain improvements in over twenty years, Bolton Valley Resort will introduce a new quad, new trails and many acres of new glades. The new Vista Bowl Doppelmayr quad will bring skiers from the base area to the 3,150 foot summit of Vista Peak. From there they can access the new Vista Bowl, which collects even more snow than Bolton’s average annual snowfall of 300 inches. The Vista Quad is set to open in Mid-December.

If glades and backcountry are your thing, then Bolton Valley Resort should be on your destination list this season. The Vista Quad will open new glades high up on Vista Peak, which falls within the Resort’s patrolled boundaries. Thanks to the unanticipated benefit of logging operations, the Timberline area will welcome more than 20+ acres of new glades. Properly named, “Wildwoods” this section of the mountain will not be patrolled, however experienced skiers and riders are invited to make their way through the challenging terrain.

The mountain is not the only place receiving a face-lift this season. Improvements are being made to the Base Lodge, Sports Center, Hotel and Restaurant as well. A new wood-fired pizzeria is being added in the Base Lodge to provide guests with more meal options and a laid back atmosphere to dine in. Other improvements include additional parking, and additional snowmaking. This season is sure to be the best Bolton Valley has seen in years.

Bolton Valley Resort features 64 trails and new glades, 6 lifts including a new top-to-bottom quad chair, night skiing & riding, slopeside accommodations and Vermont’s only lighted terrain park and half pipe.

Conveniently located eight miles from Interstate 89 just 20 miles south of Burlington, Vermont. For more information, visit www.boltonvalley.com or call 1-877-9BOLTON.
