BRETTON WOODS, New Hampshire ??” Tomorrow will be the start of possibly another record-breaking year as Bretton Woods Mountain Resort, home of the longest ski season in New Hampshire for three years running, will start turning the lifts and welcome early season New England ski and ride fans.

The Learning Center Quad will service Rosebrook Meadow, which, as always, is complimentary for all ages. In anticipation of the debut of two new terrain parks this winter, the grooming crew will be setting up some low-level box elements to introduce the new Learning Center terrain park.

In addition to the snowmaking in progress on Rosebrook Meadow, the snow guns are also blowing over Upper Express, Bigger Ben, and Bretton’s Wood.

By next weekend, the Resort hopes to open terrain from the Top O’Quad Restaurant, serviced by the Bethlehem Express High Speed Quad Chair.

A Skier and Rider Homecoming welcome back celebration is scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday, November 25, to kick off the 2005-2006 ski and snowboard season at Bretton Woods. Jeep presents Warren Miller’s Higher Ground on Friday night along with door prizes from Giro, Polar Max, Atomic, and other top ski industry brands. Live music will be provided by Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Saturday and Sunday will feature a complimentary on-mountain ski equipment demo from our very own TreeTop Demo Center. Those who want to warm up their ski legs can take advantage of special ski school lessons. All are invited to the afternoon barbecue, featuring live entertainment by the Jeremy Dean Band and a brew tasting on Saturday.
