FRANCONIA NOTCH, New Hampshire ??” Cannon Mountain is hosting its annual Insider’s Demo Day on Friday, December 16. This special weekday program lets skiers/riders try out the latest cutting edge equipment without the weekend crowds. The cost is just $25 and includes a lift ticket and access to demo equipment.

Insider’s Demo Day is a cooperative venture between Cannon Mountain and several specialty retailers: Ken Jones Ski Mart (Manchester and Nashua, NH), Sport Thoma (Lincoln, NH), Franconia Sport Shop (Franconia, NH), and Ski House (Somerset, MA).

“Our partnership with these leading retailers lets us give skiers access to what is new, try it out, and enjoy Cannon Mountain, all for a super deal at $25,” says Cannon Mountain’s Marketing Director, Amy Bassett. “Many of the shops will have experts on hand at Cannon to help people learn about what is new for equipment for this year.”

Tickets for Insider’s Demo Day must be pre-purchased at one of the participating shops. Participants are required to bring a security deposit (credit card and driver’s license) to the event. They should also bring their own equipment to use before and between demo opportunities, and to help set a benchmark for comparison with the new gear.

Cannon Mountain offers nine lifts and 55 winter trails, as well as the newly developed gentle Brookside area. Cannon Mountain is operated by the Division of Parks and Recreation of New Hampshire’s Department of Resources and Economic Development.
