Crested Butte Season Pass Deadline is Friday, September 28th

Buy on or before this Friday for the best deal of the season

MT. CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. – SEPT. 25 – The first snow has fallen on the mountains in Crested Butte, coating the ski area’s higher elevations and getting the local community excited for the upcoming winter season. It’s time to start thinking about skiing; the earlier you buy your pass, the more you save at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR). Buy season passes and mountain cards on or before this Friday, September 28, 2012 to get the best deals of the season. Unlimited skiing and riding passes, as well as multi-day Mountain Card products, are available for purchase online, in person, and by phone. The 2012/13 season begins November 21, 2012 and ends April 7, 2013.

Platinum Season Pass

In addition to unlimited winter skiing and riding privileges, Platinum passholders will continue to have summer lift access as well as entry to the Adventure Park in both the winter and 2013 summer months. They will also receive 4 Buddy Tickets at $52 each, with blackout dates of Dec. 21, 2012 – Jan. 4, 2013 and March 8 – 14, 2013. New for this year, all Adult and Senior Platinum passholders will receive a free zipline tour for the winter season that is non-transferrable. The price for an Adult Platinum Pass is $1,199, Senior (ages 65-69) is $899, Senior (ages 70+) is $389, Child (ages 7-12) is $299 and Young Adult is $335 (ages 13-17).

Gold Season Pass

Gold passholders will have unlimited winter access and receive 2 Buddy Tickets, with the same blackout dates as above. The price for an Adult Gold Pass is $1,049, Senior (ages 65-69) is $799, Senior (ages 70+) is $289, Child (ages 7-12) is $149 and Young Adult (ages 13-17) is $185.

Family Package

The popular Family Package is available as well for $1,199 for Platinum and $1,049 for Gold passes; this includes one Adult pass and a corresponding pass for that adult’s dependent child, ages 12 and under. Children 6 and under continue to ski free at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

Mountain Cards

Mountain Card products are for those wishing to ski or ride a limited number of days. This year, CBMR offers a 12-day pass ($549), the X-Card for 5 days of skiing or riding ($269), the CB Card ($59) and the EZ Pass ($499), none of which have blackout dates.

The 12-day pass and X-Card are available for use on any day of the 2012/13 ski season and offer skiers a limited number of days to enjoy the resort. The CB Card gives skiers and riders their first day on the mountain for free and 25%* off the window ticket rate for any additional days used. (* a 15% discount is given during the holiday seasons, 12/21/2012 – 1/4/2013 and 3/8/2013 – 3/14/2013) The EZ Pass is a great option for those who don’t have the ability to ski every day, giving them one day per week throughout the entire winter season.
