Okemo introduces new Millennial Season Pass for twenty-somethings

LUDLOW, Vt. – Okemo Mountain Resort Season Passes for the 2012/2013 ski and snowboard season are available for purchase now. Savvy skiers and riders can see substantial savings when they purchase their season passes for next winter by April 30, 2012. Some Okemo season passes offer added benefits including skiing at Okemo’s sister resorts: Mount Sunapee Resort, in N.H., and Crested Butte Mountain Resort, in Colo. Okemo’s pass alliance with Vermont’s Stratton Mountain continues next winter as well.

A new season pass option that Okemo is introducing is the Millennial Pass. Designed specifically for the twenty-something crowd, this season pass bridges the gap between academic life and everything that follows. The Millennial Pass is available for ages 19-29 only, though 17 and 18 year olds may qualify with proof of college enrollment. It is valid seven days a week, including holidays, at Okemo Mountain Resort and Mount Sunapee Resort. There are no blackout days and it includes a 25 percent discount on multi-day tickets at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, in Colo. The Millennial Pass is being offered at an early-bird value rate of just $499 until April 30.

Okemo’s Ultra Pass covers it all. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the slopes every day at Okemo, Mount Sunapee, Crested Butte and Stratton with no restrictions for $1,389, for adults, if purchased by April 30. Additional early-purchase incentives include: four complimentary lift tickets to be redeemed anytime after purchase and four additional lift tickets for next winter at 50 percent off, plus 25 percent off preferred parking, 50 percent off Advantage Private lessons booked in advance, and passholders can load cash on their passes at a 20 percent discount.

The Okemo Peak Pass is an unlimited season pass that is valid every day, with no restrictions, at Okemo and Mount Sunapee. The Okemo Peak Pass is $1,119, for adults, if purchased by April 30. As an early-purchase incentive, skiers are riders who purchase a Peak Pass by April 30 receive two complimentary lift tickets to be redeemed anytime after purchase and two additional lift tickets for next winter at 50 percent off, plus passholders can load cash on their passes at a 10 percent discount.
