STOWE, Vermont — Stowe Mountain Resort announces the launch of www.stowked.com – a new website dedicate to streaming video, downloads and interactive media. The website features the Stowked Trilogy of films, shot on-location in Stowe over the past five years. All three short features were created by Meathead Films of Burlington, Vermont. The Stowked Trilogy captures the essence of life on and off the mountains in New England’s superlative four-season resort community.
Stowked.com also offers users the opportunity to post their own Stowe videos, share Stowe stories with friends, design custom Stowe posters & trail maps and play games.

Stowked ( released fall 2006 )
‘Stowked’ is a 23 minute film about Stowe’s youth culture, freestyle scene and mountain terrain. The short film features a talented group of Stowe skiers and snowboarders between the ages of ten and seventeen. Stowked is a humorous, fun and youthful perspective of winter sports and the season of a competitive ski and ride team. The film stars; Keith Bennett, Ted Carrick, Macs Gorham, Jasper Goss, Hans and Nils Mindnich, Maggie Newman, Riley Nickerson, Zac Skedzuhn, Tucker Spear and Chloe & Kelsey Van Patten.
Stowked Again ( released fall 2007 )
‘Stowked Again’ features the lives of various Stowe devotes, from a local family of five to season pass holders who live from Burlington to Boston. With two central themes, love of snowsports and the mountain lifestyle, the second film in the Stowked Trilogy chronicles these skiers and snowboarders both on and off the mountain. Meathead filmmakers Geoff McDonald and Christopher James use their signature style to document the distinct lure that Stowe has on people and the unique place that energizes their lives. ‘Stowked Again’ features; Mike Evan, Richard Mahoney, Mike Kelly, Connor Manning, Jay Bowen and the Gorham Family.

‘The Stowked Life’ expands a view of Stowe Vermont’s unique mountain lifestyle throughout the year’s four-seasons. From skiing and snowboarding to hiking, golf, orienteering and more, the subjects of Meathead’s newest short film exemplify passion for the outdoors and their hometown. The film features Kristi Robertson, Pete & Tori Miline, Tracy Eykelhoff, Dave Bennett, Kim Leslie and Ty Walker.
