Golfers Take a Swing at Wiping out Cancer
STOWE, Vermont ??” Every year the Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides support to over 200 families, and funds new research. The Society is currently funding a researcher at Fletcher Allen, working on pediatric Leukemia. The Vermont Chapter is holding its first annual Vermont Golf Classic to help support and maintain these important services. The tournament will be held on August 28, 2006 at the Stowe Mountain Resort golf course. The tournament will begin with a complimentary breakfast and registration at 8:00 A.M.; followed by tee-off at 9:00 A.M.
We invite all golfers to participate in the tournament. The cost for the event is $100, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, driving range balls, hole-in-one contests, gifts, a BBQ and more. Special rates are available for groups and businesses. Wear your company logo and earn recognition for your business. Ask about the Ambassador Program and learn how you can earn a free entry into the tournament. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
