Gore Mountain Offers a Variety of Special Promotions this Week

NORTH CREEK, New York ??” Daughters 19 and under will ski, ride, snowshoe, and tube free at Gore Mountain with a full paying parent this week, from January 23-29. Season passholders, four-pack holders, and Empire Cardholders are welcome to participate in the special offer.

On Thursday, January 26, the North Creek Ski Bowl will offer two tubing tickets for the price of one.

On Friday, January 27, guests can enjoy a wonderful demo day hosted by Inside Edge of Queensbury, featuring skis from Atomic, Head, Volkl, and Elan. Those interested in Friday’s demo can save $10 on their full-price adult lift ticket purchase by stopping by the Inside Edge in advance for a discount coupon

Parents and daughters are encouraged to compete in the Family Fun Dual Slalom on January 29, where best combined times will earn excellent prizes from Beaver Brook Outfitters of Wevertown. All teams will receive an award certificate. The event will be on the “Twin Fawns” NASTAR course at 10am, with registration taking place for $5 per team from 8:30am-10am at the Information Desk in the Main Lodge.

The goal of “Take Your Daughter to Gore Week” is to encourage women to participate in winter sports, with a focus on family activities. Winter sports include alpine, telemark, and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snowshoeing, all activities offered at Gore Mountain.

Sons can enjoy the same promotion (with ice cream.) on Son Day Sundae Sunday March 19.

Following “Take Your Daughter to Gore Week,” a “For Women Only” ski clinic on February 4-5 will provide adult women an outstanding way to build skill and confidence in a non-competitive environment, while making friends on the snow. The clinic will be taught by Gore Mountain’s most dynamic female coaches. The weekend includes two full days of specialized coaching, video analysis, lift tickets, and breakfasts and lunches for $199, or $149 for season passholders.
