GILFORD, New Hampshire — Winter is just around the corner and Gunstock Mountain Resort is gearing up for the 2007-08 Season with a calendar packed full of events. With Gunstock going into it’s 70th anniversary this year, it’s going to be a season of celebration. Gunstock’s opening weekend is planned for December 7th, which begins the Learn To Ski Free Week ??“ make this season the year to learn to Ski or Ride. Gunstock’s Events calendar is changing daily ??“ here are just some of the events taking place this January. Celebrate at Gunstock’s 70th Anniversary Weekend January 11-13. Mark your calendar, Radio Disney will make three stops at Gunstock Mountain Resort this winter on their Get Out & Play Family Ski Promo. January 19, Radio Disney will be here with Music, Giveaways, & More for kids. On January 26, Gunstock XC Ski & Snowshoe Center will hold their 4th Annual Wine & Cheese Tasting XC Ski Tour ??“ enjoy the beauty of XC Skiing and sample some wines by the fire.

As the snow gets deeper and the skiing and riding get even better, the events continue at Gunstock Mountain Resort through February & March. Enjoy a day of Free heeling when New England Telemark returns to Gunstock with Nevado Mountain Adventures on February 2 for the 3rd Annual Telemark Festival and Race ??“ demos & clinics for both beginners and up. WBOS brings the Music on the Mountain Tour back to the resort on November 9th ??“ last year Tyronne Wells played an acoustic set ??“ this year’s artist is yet to be announced. Nevado returns on February 10 for demos and a “Test Your Gear” Race with great prizes and swag.

Gunstock, located in Gilford, New Hampshire, is one of the state’s largest recreation areas.
