Hunter Mountain Participates in the National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month

Beginners can learn to ski or ride at Hunter Mountain with an amazing offer in the month of January

Hunter, NY – Hunter Mountain will be participating in the national initiative to encourage people to learn to ski or snowboard in the month of January. Any individual who purchases a Single Pak at Hunter Mountain Sunday through Friday, non-holiday, in the month of January will receive a second Single Pak free! This free Single Pak can be redeemed Sunday-Friday, non-holiday in the months of January and February. First timers will also be given a group photo with their instructor to remember the experience.

The Single Pak is a beginner package offered at Hunter Mountain all season long as a part of Hunter’s nationally recognized and award winning learning program. This package consists of a lower mountain lift ticket, providing access to beginner and intermediate terrain, equipment rental, and a group lesson.

“The goal of the program is to encourage a healthy winter lifestyle and to get people out there really enjoying the sports,” explains Gerry Tschinkel, Hunter Mountain’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We stand behind that and we here at Hunter want to give people the opportunity to get the full experience of skiing or riding and make it something to enjoy with their families for many years to come.”

The Learning Center at Hunter is an exceptional facility designed with the beginner in mind. Guests are swept from ticket sales, to equipment rentals, to the lifts of Hunter One with 14 trails especially designed for families and beginners, all together providing one effortless, streamlined process that makes learning easier and more enjoyable.
